Job Description:
Plans day-to-day management of the apartments, coordinate resident services, including activities and provision of transportation, maintain documentation of all essential resident information. To assist in marketing the apartments and to maximize occupancy.
Responsibilities:
- Provides and activities program designed to encourage stimulation and maintenance of normal activity with residents limitations.
- Assist residents to continue in their individual interests or hobbies
- Interview residents to determine their interests
- Communicate with nursing team and personnel of other dpeartments on residents needs
- Develop, plan and implement, and lead small, medium, and large group activities.
- Arrange transportation for residents to and from doctor appointments, on a limited basis.
- Maintain apartment resident's file
- Coordinate taking residents on outings away from facility.
- Work with and direct volunteers by delegating activities and assignments.
- Develops monthly Activity Calendar
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Degree Human Services preferred
- CDL license required
- Regular attendance is required
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
