Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our retirement and care center, ensuring a welcoming environment for all residents. This role requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Full-time 6am - 230pm
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing various types of flooring.
- Conduct thorough residential cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs for restocking.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest requests or concerns promptly.
- Assist with carpet cleaning as needed to maintain the quality of carpets in the facility.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies while performing all cleaning tasks.
Skills
- Strong custodial skills with a focus on cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively sanitize various surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and guests.
- Experience in housekeeping management is a plus for overseeing cleaning schedules and staff.
