What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wheelchair-Non Clinical Equipment Repair-Part Time position at Luther Manor?
Non -Clinical Equipment Repair
Performs a variety of maintenance and cleaning duties on wheelchairs and other non-clinical equipment, including geriatric chairs and walkers.
- Performs preventative maintenance on wheelchairs and non-clinical equipment
- Cleans and repairs wheelchairs and non-clinical equipment
- Maintains a log of all preventative maintenance and cleaning functions on wheelchairs/equipment
- Orders parts and maintains inventory
- Develops and maintains wheelchair cleaning schedule
- Maintains cleanliness/safety of immediate work area
- Must be 18 years old and possess basic understanding of Mechanics
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines while working in an environment with frequent interruptions
- Must be able to read and see to maneuver non-clinical equipment
