What are the responsibilities and job description for the SWIFT/JJC Program Supervisor 2 position at Lutheran Community Services Northwest?

The supervisor in this role ensures youth receive quality behavioral health support by overseeing crisis response, guiding clinical best practices, and ensuring compliance with agency standards. Through coaching and mentorship, they help staff provide trauma-informed care and support youth mental health needs. They also foster collaboration among detention staff, behavioral health providers, and community partners to ensure coordinated care. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and Coordinate Team Meetings – Facilitate discussions, set agendas, and track action items to ensure timely follow-up and progress. Foster a supportive and productive environment for team members to share updates, challenges, and solutions.
Supervise and Coach Staff - Provide structured coaching sessions and conduct individual check-ins to support staff development, performance, PTO request and overall administrative needs.
Oversee Crisis Response and Risk Management-Ensure timely and accurate completion of required documentation, including crisis interventions, transition plans, and internal transfer paperwork.
Ensure Compliance and Accurate Documentation –Regularly review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness to support high-quality care. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Facilitate Collaboration and Service Coordination – Ensure that all teams and service providers involved in a youth’s care communicate effectively to ensure that client needs are met, that high-risk situations are responded to, and that necessary continuity of care is provided.
Monitor Program Goals and Progress- Support staff to achieve program goals (including productivity targets), and report outcomes and activities according to program and agency requirements.
Promote Cultural Awareness and Inclusive Care – Ensure staff treat all youth and families with respect, considering their backgrounds, beliefs, and identities. Provide guidance and support to help staff maintain inclusive and trauma-informed practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
1 year of related experience;providing crisis support in a Mental/Behavioral health setting.
Bachelor's in social work, psychology or related field; substantial relevant experience will be considered in place of degree.
Counselor Agency Affiliated Registration is required within (60) days of hire. Equivalent credentials may be accepted, depending on individual program or location requirements.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written
Intermediate mastery of business applications and productivity suites

Moves equipment/materials weighing up to (20) pounds;
Travels between worksites regularly which requires valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and motor vehicle records clearance
Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, settings in varying weather conditions, and faith-based settings such as churches
Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program

Salary : $34 - $48
