We are seeking compassionate, professional Case Managers and/or Social Workers to provide case management, pregnancy counseling, and parenting/adoption education and support through our Pregnancy and Parenting Services in Springfield, Missouri. They will have the opportunity to provide and maintain child welfare services, counseling and case management services to individuals, families and groups that include, birth, foster and adoptive families.
Duties
- Coordinate and provide care to clients and build positive working relationships to meet their goals.
- Assess client’s needs and obstacles to achieving them. Create service plans develop goals with the client and how they can achieve those goals.
- Counsel, advocate, and teach clients on the skills identified in their service plan, provide resources, and case management with the client.
- Develop, monitor, and evaluate assessments, service plan, and progress as well as any other necessary reports to meet documentation and funder guidelines required. Write court reports and other required documentation providing thorough and timely information.
- Establish and maintain appropriate, current community networks and interactions, in cooperation with program supervisors and staff.
- Continue professional growth and development such as cultural competence, social diversity, therapeutic and intervention techniques as related to job duties.
Qualifications
Must be a licensed driver with access to a reliable automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements.
Case Manager or Social Worker Bachelors- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Guidance Counseling, Drug & Alcohol Counseling or other Human Behavior Science. Applicants currently enrolled in one of the listed degree programs with an anticipated graduation date of December 2024 are encouraged to apply.
Case Manager or Social Worker Masters - Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Guidance Counseling, Drug & Alcohol Counseling or other Human Behavior Science. Two years’ experience with Child Welfare, Adoption, Foster Care, community resources and/or care coordinator.
