Now Hiring!: Resident Concierge Location: Oviedo, FL Part-time Job Summary:Lutheran Haven is seeking a thoughtful and proactive Resident Concierge to ensure provision of concierge services for our residents. The Resident Concierge is responsible for daily coverage of the converiage desk as well as assisting residents manage relationships and communication. Job Duties:- Actively supports Lutheran Haven’s Mission and Ministry.
- Manage residents relationships and communication relative to:
- Work orders.
- Daily announcements via television and email.
- Resident vacation activity.
- Resident move-in and move out, including carport assignments, house sale authorizations, collection of keys at move out.
- Internal resident mail delivery.
- Preparations for hurricane for residential living residents.
- Contact with residents regarding home delivered meals.
- Notifications and memorial notices.
- Coordination with web master for resident portal database.
- Annual Christmas Angel Tree.
- Resident directory: management, printing, distribution.
- Forwarding of resident mail as needed.
- Resident alerting system database maintenance.
- Assuring assignment of resident courtesy call system coverage.
- Provide services for residents and staff including.
- Reservations for rooms in all common areas of the Haven.
- Mail services including sales of postage stamps, weighing of packages, assisting residents with packaging, sales of metered postage.
- Other personal services such as notary, fax, copy.
- Help set up for special events and assisting with semi-annual flea market.
- Assure coverage for concierge desk from 8:30am to 8:30pm 7 days per week, excluding holidays.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have a minimum of one year of verifiable, successful experience in similar position and environment.
- Must be able to read, write and speak effectively and understandably to meet resident needs, and maintain effective communication with staff and resident family members in person, over the phone, and in writing.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and ability to function on a professional level with clients, staff, and other outside professionals during stressful or emotional situations.
