What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Spec position at Lutheran Health System Serv?
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Network Education Services Director, coordinates, develops, implements and evaluates educational programs provided for the organization and community. Educators will be familiar with all aspects of the network’s operation, and will focus on assigned areas of coordination.
MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Registration/Certification/Licensure:
- CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) within two (2) months of hire.
- Certified SAMA Trainer (or related certification); renewed every 2 years
Experience:
- One year of adult education experience is required. 2 years hospital experience is preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma or its equivalent (GED). Associates degree preferred.
- Membership in the CPI Instructor Association or related professional organization.
