Activities Program Coordinator Memory Care Assisted Living

Lutheran Home is seeking an Activities Program Coordinator to join our team! The Program Coordinator will develop and implement activity programming for our residents within our memory care assisted living. Interested candidates should be patient, organized and dedicated to our mission and "4 C's."

Additional duties include :

  • Planning the monthly activity calendar
  • Participating in resident care conferences
  • Managing activities budget
  • Coordinate onsite events and offsite outings
  • Respond to family / visitor questions and concerns promptly

Hours for the position are Monday - Friday 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM. No holidays and no on-call hours!

Requirements for the position :

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Therapeutic Recreation / Recreational Therapy or Art Therapy.
  • Prior experience working with the senior population with a focus on dementia care.
  • Ability to develop and nurture professional and educational relationships with staff members and visitors
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with resident / patient charting systems
