Lutheran Life Villages - Village at Kendallville is looking for caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for our community! New graduates welcome.

12-hour shifts, work every 3rd weekend. Work three (3) 12-hour shifts in a week, get paid for 40 hours! Full & Part-time positions open.

Hours:
Nights: 6:30pm - 7am.

This position is at our Kendallville campus where there are NO SCHEDULE MANDATES

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Qualifications

Education/Training

  1. Registered/licensed nurse graduate from an accredited state approved school of nursing with current license to practice in the State of Indiana.

Experience

  1. Prefer a minimum of two years' experience in long-term care setting with charge, assistant charge of comparable responsibilities. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1.  Strong, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  2.  Understanding or the concepts of aging and the needs and concerns of the elderly.
  3.  Basic computer experience preferred.

Working Conditions

Normal healthcare facility conditions with exposure to bodily fluids, diseases, and health ailments.

 7) Maintains positive work atmosphere through behavior and communication in a manner that gets along with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and management. 

8) Regular attendance to ensure care to residents.

9) Recommends changes in office practices and procedures.
