Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced wound care nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate wounds caused by accidents and surgical treatments to identify acute treatment requirements and long-term strategies.
- Regularly assess priorities in patient care, collaborate with supervising doctors on case management, and communicate with patients' family members and healthcare professionals.
- Instruct patients and their families on care practices and wellness strategies to support healing before discharge.
Requirements
- A graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of South Carolina.
This role involves maintaining and administering employee health records and procedures, as well as managing compliance issues related to employee health in accordance with DHEC, ASHA, and CDC regulations and Lowman Home policies. The Employee Health Nurse will coordinate services with the Human Resource and Education/Training Departments.
