Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate Housekeeper (EVS Assistant) to join our team at Lutheran Life Villages. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain common areas, offices, employee/resident lounges, public bathrooms, and hallways in a clean and orderly condition.
- Dust, mop, and spot mop all common areas and hallways as assigned.
- Clean and polish bathroom fixtures, ensuring water marks are removed.
- Perform laundry services, including washing, sanitizing, and folding linens.
- Transport soiled linen to the laundry room, sort, and operate washer and dryer.
- Fold and deliver clean laundry to hall storage areas and specified locations.
- Ensure adequate supply of linen on halls and organize hall linen closets.
- Clean surfaces of machines, vents, and walls in soiled linen rooms.
Working Hours:
This role is scheduled to work 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday and every other weekend.
