What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist PRN position at Lutheran Living Services?
Lutheran Home is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team! The Occupational Therapist will work with our care team to provide rehabilitation services for individuals in our rehab center and those living in long term care. Interested candidates should be motivated, goal-oriented and dedicated to our mission and "4 C's."
We currently have a PRN opening. PRN rate for this position is $40. Role will include one mandatory Saturday/month w/additional weekday hours available to pick up.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Conduct and document initial patient evaluation
- Contribute to care planning, setting objective and measurable goals
- Applying appropriate evidence-based interventions in line with care plan and goals
- Evaluate patient response to treatment and report to interdisciplinary team
- Document ongoing treatment, make recommendations for contented treatment as necessary
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to process/quality improvement
Requirements for the position:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active state licensure required
- Prior experience working with the adult and/or aging population preferred
- Ability to develop and nurture professional and educational relationships with peers and clients
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
