What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN/CMA position at Lutheran Medical Group?

Primary responsibilities include professional nursing functions in the clinic setting following established standards and practices. Works with Physicians, Office Administrators, CEO, and other office personnel to help implement changes to enhance the office operations. Care of the patients before, during, and after office visit. As with all Lutheran Medical Group positions, to always promote, through actions and attitudes, the highest level of customer care and service.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Current Indiana LPN License/MA certificate
- Basic Life Support Certificate
Experience:
- One-year experience in a related health care field with at least one-year experience in a relevant physician office role preferred.
- Current BLS Certification preferred, required within 3 months of hire.
- CMA or RMA Certification preferred
Education:
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing, LPN program.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred.
