Position Summary
LMM is looking for someone who will be the first point of contact for our internal users, providing exceptional technical support and ensuring a seamless IT experience. Youll play a critical role in maintaining productivity and security by promptly diagnosing and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver with strong communication skills, ability to work independently and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Some of the duties include:
- Serve as the primary contact for users with IT-related issues, including hardware malfunctions, software errors, connectivity problems, and user account management
- Log, prioritize, and track support tickets through to resolution, escalating complex problems to the appropriate internal teams or external vendors as necessary
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and office peripherals
- Support the organization's network, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN systems
- Research, learn, and implement new technologies/solutions as needed
- Provide technical support for teleconference and video conference systems
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical end-users. They should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, including identifying issues, troubleshooting, and implementing effective solutions. A solid understanding of PC and laptop repair, as well as experience with Internet and networking technologies such as LAN, WAN, and WLAN, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems are required, while familiarity with Server 2019 and 2022 is a plus. Basic networking knowledge, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and firewall protocols, is beneficial. Experience supporting teleconferencing and VoIP phone systems is preferred. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with an associates degree being a plus, and must have reliable transportation.
