The Associate, Activities II works under broad supervision with general exercise of independent judgment in the planning, coordinating, and implementing of a comprehensive community life program to meet the needs of residents. Implements activities and programs that encourage independence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and certification/registration in related field preferred.
- One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of the methods and techniques of comprehensive multi-level recreation programs to meet the needs of residents.
- Knowledge of concepts, principles and practices related to dealing with the rehabilitation of residents.
- Knowledge of relevant facility handbooks, policies, procedures, regulations, and statutes.
- Maintains current certification/registration.
