Rates starting at $18.90 per hour.
This is a part-time position and we are offering a $6,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment).
Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.
Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.
Passavant Community is a Continuing Care Retirement Community where residents can receive as little or as much care as they need.
Provides assistance to professional nursing staff in the care of residents / patients through performance of routine direct and indirect resident / patient care activities, according to established policies and procedures. Maintains resident / patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality. Promotes resident / patient acceptance of treatment goals and responds promptly to overall resident / patient needs.
This position will rotate between 2 shifts either 2 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 30 p.m. and 10 : 00 p.m. to 6 : 30 a.m. or 6 : 00 a.m. to 2 : 30 p.m. and 2 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 30 p.m.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Current Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide Certification; Must be listed on state nurse aide registry and without allegations.
