Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) currently seeks an occasional part-time Social Worker within our Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) program in Denison and the surrounding area. This position will cover Crawford and Carrol counties and is critical to empowering the children and families we serve toward success. Qualified candidates would have the availability to work with clients and client families during afternoon and evening hours as needed. Travel is required but mileage reimbursement is available.

- Provide ongoing assessment to families
- Develop and make changes to the implementation plan based on a child or family's individual situation
- Evaluate a child or family's progress
What You'll Need
Qualified applicants for this role must have one of the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Family Services, Social Work, Sociology or another human services related field, plus one year of full-time equivalent human service experience. Twenty hours of child mental health training may be substituted for experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in a non-human services related field, plus two years of full-time equivalent human service experience. Thirty hours of child mental health training may be substituted for experience.
- A Master's degree in a human services related field, plus one year of full-time equivalent child mental health services experience
