What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Transport Driver position at Lutheran Social Service of MN?
This role offers a flexible schedule, NO weekends and plays a huge role in your local community!
The driver will follow MN State Department of Health food handling regulations and deliver bulk food at designated times to satellite sites. Will deliver up to approximately six deliveries daily and transport up to 1,500 meals per day.
- Valid Driver’s License and instructions on proper lifting.
- Must be able to deliver food and drive in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be able to read and follow verbal instructions.
The successful candidate must be cleared by a Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) background study and have a drivers’ license; a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) is required.
