Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high quality customer service that is responsive to client needs
- Schedule new client intake inquiries for group services within Re-Entry and other programs, as needed; assess needs and service requests and match appropriately with agency services.
- Identify clients who may be experiencing a mental health crisis and may need immediate appointments or to speak with a professional counselor.
- Collect basic intake information, including demographic information, presenting problem, etc. and input into the computer information system
- Maintain knowledge of group services, availability and locations.
- Communicate intake information with Supervisor and Group Facilitators, as needed.
- Meet with client in-person (where possible) or over the phone to establish a fee and discuss payment requirements.
- Collect, analyze and input data on referral sources for incoming clients, client success and to assist in contract and grant completion.
- Facilitate domestic violence groups for domestic violence offenders.
- Conduct groups that reduce barriers for successful completion (evenings, telehealth, interpreting services, etc.).
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, plus one to two years’ experience in related human service field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency auto insurance requirements.
- Must successfully complete all agency background checks.
