Certified Medication Aide
Part Time | Day Shift | 7am-12pm
**Pay Rate starting at $19/hour; based on experience**
Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio is currently seeking a Certified Medication Aide for Kensington Place in Columbus, Ohio.
Kensington Place offers beautiful, comfortable and secure Senior Living options including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care.

What will I do as a Certified Medication Aide with Lutheran Social Services:
- Delivers routine daily oral, inhalation and topical medications to residents under direct supervision of a licensed nurse unless otherwise allowed by state law.
- Observes for any adverse drug reactions and reports any problems to the nurse.
- Records medication administration according to company policy and procedures.
- Follows written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications.
- Observes residents for changes in their condition and notifies nurse accordingly.
- Perform tasks associated with medication administration.
- Practices safe handling and storage of medications.
- Responds to resident requests and other direct care duties as assigned.
Requirements for a Certified Medication Aide with Lutheran Social Services:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have medication aide certification (MA-C).
- Minimum of 1 year of health care industry experience or 2 years' experience as a certified medication aide.
- Valid Ohio driver's license, access to reliable insured transportation and ability to meet LSS insurance standards required.
