Essential Functions:
- Enjoy building rapport with residents, their families, and community members.
- Perform certifications, rent collections, and process bills for payment in a timely manner.
- Effective and timely communication with building staff and supervisor.
- Assist with all aspects of renting an apartment, in accordance with HUD and LSSI regs.
- Assume responsibilities of daily operations when Property Manager is absent.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum Associate's Degree with 1-2 years of management/supervisory experience or High School Diploma/Equivalent with 3-5 years of management/supervisory experience.
- Minimum Leasing License or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Must possess the Certified Occupancy Specialist Designation (COS) or willingness to obtain within 2 years of hire.
- Minimum number of years management/supervisory experience is dependent on education level.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, perform assigned tasks, relate to others, make decisions, direct/control plan work, communicate in writing and verbally.
- Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurancecoverage bodily injury and property damage.
- Valid state driver's license in good standing and access to reliabletransportation.
