LSSI is hiring a full-timeDirect Support Person for the East Shady Oaks location in Homer Glen. Responsible for assisting adultswithdevelopmentaldisabilitiesandprovidingcareinallareasof daily living in a residential setting.

EssentialFunctions:

- Driveandescortclientstooutings,appointments,etc.intothecommunity.
- Safelycompleteclienttransfersperfacilityprotocol.
- Performsvarioushousekeepingtasksasassigned.
- Implementclientindividualhabilitationplans.
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- DSP Certification, CPR First Aide preferred.
- Abilitytomeetextensivephysicalrequirementsoftheposition.
- Abilitytoread&writeEnglishadequatelytocompleterequireddocumentation.
- Abilitytocommunicateadequatelywithclients,families,&co-workers.
- Valid Illinois driver's license.
