Essential Functions:
- Complete andsubmit allrequiredreports,documentation, andbillingaccurately andtimelyas required by agency and funding sources.
- Participatein supervisory processforguidance,direction,support,andapprovalofdecision making,assessment,service planning andintervention. Present cases forstaffingand conduct family-child team meetings.
- Coordinateandcollaborate withother serviceproviders, schools,andhealthcarefacilitiesto promote the child(ren)'s well-being.
- Assessfamilyserviceneeds.
- Providelinkagetocommunity resources toremediateproblemsandpreventabuseorneglect and verify participation.
- Ensurechildsafetyandwell-beingduringservicedelivery.
- Providestrength-basedcasemanagement to facilitatethe resolutionofminortomoderate challenges contributing to risk to children.
- Advocacywithmedicalorgovernmentalinstitutions.

- Bachelor'sdegreeinsocialworkordegreeinrelatedhumanservicesfieldrequired.
- Previouschildwelfareexperiencestronglydesired.
- Statelicensing/certificationasrequiredby thestateof IllinoisDepartment of Childrenand Family Services.
- Backgroundcheckclearance,bothcriminalandCANTS.
- Basicunderstanding ofWord,Excel,SharePoint, etc.andwillingnesstolearnothersystemsused by LSSI.
- Demonstrated abilitytocommunicate inaclear, comprehensiblemanner,bothverbally andinwriting.
- Validdriver'slicense,ingoodstandingforthestateofresidencyrequired.
- Accessto reliabletransportation.
- ProofofvalidILstatutoryminimumliabilityinsurancecoveragerequired.
