LSSI is seeking a full time Prevention Specialist to work 40 hours per week for our nonprofit social services organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The qualified individual will have assigned duties within the program that focus on substance use prevention among junior high and high school students.
- Job related activities include teaching an evidence based curriculum in area schools, leading a local coalition, and educating community members about the dangers of youth substance use.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good computer skills working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
