LSSI is hiring a part-time Case-Aide. Responsible for assisting clinical staff in providing services to Kenmore Healthy Start Recovery Home (HSRH) clients, including monitoring the milieu, observing clients during medication times, and documentation. Provide supportive coverage to Kenmore Residential Rehabilitation, as needed.
Schedule:
Monday, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 4:00pm
Thursday and Friday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with Kenmore HSRH team members, other LSSI programs, and external partners in order to provide quality, whole-person care and services to Kenmore HSRH clients.
- Make client referrals and linkages.
- Maintain an encouraging therapeutic environment on the unit.
- Monitor milieu and assist clinical staff, including communicating any changes in a client’s presentation or needs to a member of the clinical staff.
- Complete all required EHR documentation in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with Emergency Procedures.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of experience in substance use field is preferred.
- Annual TB test required.
- Familiarity with accreditation and licensure standards.
- Proficiency in EHR documentation and review required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Occasional driving may be required.
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing for the state of residency.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
