Essential Functions:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Drive and escort clients to outings, appointments, etc. into the community.
- Safely complete client transfers per facility protocol.
- Performs various housekeeping tasks as assigned.
- Implement client individual habilitation plans.
- Provide advocacy and support to clients.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to promote a positive environment.
- Attend ongoing scheduled training and professional developmental sessions.
- Complete work in compliance with regulatory requirements & guidelines established by the supervisor.
- Performs other related tasks as needed.
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- DSP Certification, CPR First Aide.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to meet extensive physical requirements of the position.
- Ability to read & write English adequately to complete required documentation.
- Ability to communicate adequately with clients, families, & co-workers.
- Valid Driver's License.
