- The position requires good clinical and assessment skills, and ability to engage and motivate clients to change, while monitoring ongoing safety of the children.
- Usual length of client service is 6-9 months. Visits take place in the home where the children reside; therefore, access to a car, a clean driving record is required.
In addition to a real passion for working with at-risk children and families, this opportunity requires:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related human services field.
- State licensing/certification as required by the State of Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
- Background check clearance, both criminal and CANTS.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- A valid Illinois driver’s license, proof of automobile liability insurance. Access to transportation for visits, and to transport clients to and from appointments.
Salary : $60,000 - $72,000
