LSSI is hiring a full-time Maintenance Manager, Monday through Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm. Under the direction of the Property Manager and Directors, maintain all facets of physical plant and grounds in accordance with health and safety requirements of LSSI/HUD with on-call duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:
- Oversee and may perform routine maintenance, janitorial duties and repair of buildings and grounds.
- Report needs for major repairs, compete specifications, and capital documentation as required by LSSI and HUD.
- Follow all standards regarding safety, licensing, regulatory and agency requirements.
- Develop, implement and maintain preventative maintenance program.
- Ensure prompt resident apartment turnover preparations.
- Perform on-call services as scheduled and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Provide direct supervision, training, support, review, and evaluation for assigned staff.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) or three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in general and/or residential maintenance required.
- One (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience preferred.
- Trade school or technical training preferred.
- Willingness and ability to participate/obtain HUD, LSSI, OSHA, NSPIRE/REAC, etc. related training required.
- Background check clearance required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, verbally and written.
- Good organization and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation required.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
