Essential Duties and Responsibilities / Deberes y Responsabilidades Esenciales:

• 40% Provide short-term care and supervision consistent with the health needs of the client throughout the week.

• 30% Provide cleaning tasks to include dusting, cleaning floors, bathrooms, windows.
  30% Realizar tareas de limpieza como quitar el polvo, limpiar pisos, baños y ventanas.
• 30% Provide assistance for an individual to remain in their home and participate in community activities.
  30% Proporcionar apoyo para que el individuo permanezca en su hogar y participe en actividades comunitarias.

Qualifications / Cualificaciones:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the abilities required:

• Must show proof of freedom from TB before client contact.
  Presentar prueba de estar libre de TB antes del contacto con el cliente.
• Must have current certification in First Aid and CPR.
  Tener certificación vigente en Primeros Auxilios y RCP.
• Current or ability to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  Poseer o estar en capacidad de obtener una Tarjeta de Autorización de Huellas Dactilares de Nivel Uno.
• Clear criminal background and motor vehicle screening.
  Superar verificaciones de antecedentes penales y de vehículos.
• Clear the Department of Economic Security, Department of Aging and Adult Services Central Registry Background Check.
  Aprobar el Registro Central de Antecedentes del Departamento de Seguridad Económica y del Departamento de Servicios para Adultos Mayores.
• If driving is one of the essential duties & responsibilities, maintain a valid AZ driver's license, proof of auto insurance, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation throughout the duration of employment.

Education and Experience / Educación y Experiencia:

• Six months experience working with individuals with disabilities or older adults preferred.

• Ability to solve problems and make decisions.
  Capacidad para resolver problemas y tomar decisiones.
• Knowledge of community streets and routes.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit and/or stand for long periods.
