Food Services Assistant Supervisor

Lutheran Sunset Ministries in Clifton, TX, is seeking aFood Services Assistant Supervisor.

Job Summary:

Assist in monitoring resident menus, the preparation of service of food to residents and supervise dietary personnel. Perform functions relative to food service with Lutheran Sunset Ministries' established policies and procedures and as directed by the Food Services Supervisor.

Shift:

Standard shift is 11:30am - 8:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Rotating on-call weeks with Food Services Supervisor, as needed.

Pay Rate:

Hourly/Full-Time, $18.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent
• Personal Job-Related Skills: Knowledge of food service operations. Leadership and management abilities and effective oral and written communication skills
• Licensure, Registry or Certification: Certified Dietary Manager and Certified Food Production Professional desired but not required
• Experience:
• Prior Work Experience: One year experience in a hospital, nursing facility or related food service setting is preferred
• Physical and Mental Requirements: Duties of the position require moderate periods of sitting, walking and standing.Bending, stooping, and reaching required to handle supplies and clean.Pushing and pulling of carts and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions
