Overview
Lutron is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect out of our world headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. In this position, you would be a key part of the Information Technology leadership team, responsible for developing innovative solutions in support of our growing business needs. As an Enterprise Architect, you will provide technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision-making down to the project planning level. You will have the opportunity to join a dynamic group - learning from experiences and from one another. We are always seeking to improve existing processes and discover new technologies and services, and, in this role, you will evaluate and select all technologies required. This position will report to IT Leadership and have a dotted line to Product Software Engineering leadership.
Responsibilities
- Drive evolutionary and transformational change in the organization by establishing strategic IT architecture, working with the business and other Enterprise Architects (product, data, etc.) across the company.
- Evolve and expand the IT system architecture to support short term and long-term business needs as the company continues to scale.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies to drive business value increase, cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.
- Collaborate with other Enterprise Architects to establish and govern technical standards, guidelines, and architectural principles across the organization, ensuring adherence through robust governance frameworks and cross-functional collaboration for consistent software development practices.
- Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including onboarding of new applications and analysis of cost reduction opportunities.
- Assure a high standard of quality in your own work and in the work of others on your team. Mentor and coach colleagues to expand the effectiveness of those around you.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices by identifying and mitigating risks / vulnerabilities in software architectures, while collaborating with security and compliance teams to maintain secure development practices.
