Supply Chain Specialists at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products and services for commercial and residential use. There are a variety of concepts throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as : Global supply chain design, management, and optimization for raw materials and finished goods Capacity planning and global process improvement (Enterprise Resource Planning) Demand forecasting and optimization of inventory / warehouse utilization (Material Requirements Planning) Risk management and mitigation strategies Statistical analysis to support data-driven decision making Supplier relationship / quality management and product cost analysis Responsibilities Ownership of supply chains for new product introduction or existing product delivery, including materials procurement and manufacturing logistics Frequent collaboration with Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales to develop business plans / forecasting Participate in multi-disciplinary reviews focusing on supply chain design, facility transfer readiness, etc. Coordinate with global manufacturing facilities and provide logistics support for high-volume production QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalent Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned 0-3 years' experience in a related fieldLutron Electronics' position as the worldwide leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions has enabled consistent, annual growth.
