Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has immediate openings for Warehouse Associate on our 2nd shift at our climate-controlled distribution facility located in Ashland, VA. In this position, you will learn various materials handler tasks and would be a key part of the Operations team. You will build a career with a high-tech company working in a hands-on environment. You will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to the broad range of equipment, processes, and technologies employed in our operation. Responsibilities

Become certified to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (such as electric pallet riders, order pickers, and forklifts, etc.)

Utilize RF technology to perform distribution functions such as picking, packing and shipping orders, receiving, put away and stock replenishment

Deliver material to production lines in a timely manner

Learn and use our inventory management system and enter materials transactions

Work with our supply chain and distribution teams to process customer orders

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

Flexibility to work on our 2nd shift (Monday thru Friday from 2 : 00pm - 10 : 30pm)

Prior experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment

Desire to learn additional warehouse equipment

1 year shipping or receiving experience (preferred)

Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Have a valid Driver's License

Basic math and computer skills

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Ability for continuous learning

Ability to stand for an extended period of time

Ability to read and follow work instructions in English

Ability to work safely, wear appropriate PPE, and follow safety procedures
