Lutron has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst to support our Operations Finance Team. This position will be a key part of the Corporate Finance Team supporting management decision-making with reporting and analysis in a cross-functional environment. A successful Senior Lead Financial Analyst will have a working knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, strong technical skills, and the initiative to learn and add value to the business.

Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting:
- Manage the annual budget process for business partners
- Accurately prepare consolidated monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Analyze trends in operating expenses, capital expenditures and other related areas
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings
- Analyze the financial impact, risks, and opportunities of proposed business decisions
- Prepare monthly variance analyses and financial reporting
- Research and understand cost drivers
- Conduct business reviews with business partners and finance team
- Provide detailed financial analytics in support of monthly updates
- Proactively lead business partner to meet or exceed financial commitments
- Make recommendations to business partners regarding risks and opportunities
- Partner with accounting during the monthly close process and ensure compliance to Lutron’s accounting policies
- Support board of director and audit committee preparation
- Support Finance Director with special projects and efficiency / effectiveness projects
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA for all degrees earned
- Minimum 1 year work experience in finance and/or accounting with monthly reporting responsibility required; 3 years experience preferred
- Experience in manufacturing is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
