Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for the local team of process experts.
- Be responsible for day-to-day production operations, execution to schedule, quality, and cost
- Drive continuous improvement activities around people development,safety, and enhanced processes
- Drive year-over-year productivity improvement
- Ensure all quality goals are met
- Foster key relationships across the business and organization
- Lead and develop team members - ensure cross training is developed and executed.
- Interface closely with the plant leadership team, Corporate Operations and Customer Service teams regarding issues and opportunities.
- Exercise Kaizen/5S program to drive lean manufacturing principles and achieve cost, quality, and capacity goals.
- Adhere to Lutron Production Systems
- Drive manufacturing readiness for product launch and transfer to production
- Establish metrics to track improvement over time
- Improve KPI's
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant degree with proven understanding of Mechanical and Electrical fundamentals
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00
- Proven fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
- Knowledge lean manufacturing principles and cost drivers
- 10 years of applicable manufacturing experience
- 3 years’ experience in people management
