Lutron is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Project Manager to become part of our Commercial Projects & Services team at our Global Headquarters in Coopersburg PA. In this pivotal role, you will utilize your technical expertise and customer-centric approach to ensure the success of our commercial projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include overseeing initial project planning, final programming, customer training, and building turnover.
Responsibilities
- Master Lutron Systems: Develop and apply a comprehensive understanding of our systems, including Athena, Quantum, and Vive.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with various Lutron teams such as Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, CPS Pre-Sales, and Operations to coordinate specifications, training, and timelines.
- Customer Service: Engage with customers to understand their requirements, provide expert guidance, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project life-cycle
- Lead Projects: Successfully manage a portfolio of large-scale commercial projects, incorporating both current and legacy systems, window system solutions, and innovative new products.
- Manage Documentation: Create construction submittals, change orders, quotations, and support documentation.
- Coordinate Schedules: Oversee multiple schedules, including construction, procurement, manufacturing, delivery, service visits, and startup.
- Innovate and Solve Problems: Learn and apply new technologies and processes to creatively address technical and logistical challenges.
- Represent Lutron: Act as Lutron's representative in construction project meetings to ensure proper installation and delivery of Lutron systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in the following areas of study required: Architecture, Architecture Engineering, Business/Business Management, Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 required
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in a project management or customer relations role required; experience with commercial building technology preferred
- Must be located within commutable distance of Coopersburg PA to accommodate in-office schedule
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint and ability to efficiently work in a fast-paced environment while navigating multiple systems
- Willingness to travel 10%
