Responsibilities
- Corporate Generalist: Assist the Executive Vice President and General Counsel in enhancing the capabilities, efficiency and effectiveness of the various legal and non-legal functional areas. Handle a diverse group of legal, financial and business matters, anticipate issues, and problem solve.
- Board Support: Create and maintain corporate records including Board Resolutions. Prepare quarterly Board reports and shareholder materials.
- Relationship Development: Collaborate with department leadership and oversee the development and maintenance of external high-level relationships. Serve as a liaison for key internal relationships.
- Department Financial Budgeting & Goal Setting: Work with department leaders on budget development and goal setting for certain corporate expense areas. Provide day-to-day oversight of the Corporate Department budget.
- Staffing Coordination: Work with department leadership to maintain current and future state organization and staff development materials. Facilitate job changes and temporary project assignments to meet the evolving needs of our business; this includes coordination with HR and Finance on budgeted staffing additions and onboarding.
- Improvement Projects: Identify continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Develop resource plans and timelines for improvements. Drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.
- Technology Management: Coordinate with department team members and IT for the ongoing selection and management of department technology solutions
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (any concentration)
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a corporate, legal, or government setting which includes some business experience as a generalist.
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 10% of the time in addition to required travel to Lutron Global Headquarters
