Description

• Overseeing manufacturing operation and communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Disciplining employees, enforcing policies and procedures.
• Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions, and responding to requests.
• Evaluating each station of the production process to maintain optimum efficiency.
• Creating and overseeing employee training to increase production, enhance safe operations and ensure profitability, and discipline employees.
• Enforcing all safety policies on the production floor.
• Inspecting products for quality and accuracy prior to shipping.
• Maintaining communication between management and employees to ensure that necessary policies are understood and followed.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in a mechanical discipline.
• Experience in process development and improvement of manufacturing processes such as braiding, cable, tubing, extruded plastics or similar products.
• Experience in process analysis, troubleshooting, control, and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to facilitate team problem-solving.
• Firm understanding of safety regulations including SDS, OSHA, SARA and HAZWOPER.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated skills in cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent work habits and leadership.

Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
