Certified Home Health Aide

Home Health Aide provides essential assistance to individuals who need support with daily living activities due to age, illness, injury, or disability. The services they offer can vary depending on the needs of the client but typically include the following:

• Personal Care Services:
• Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.

• Assisting with medication reminders or simple medication administration (under a nurse’s supervision).
• Providing basic wound care or dressing changes.
• Support for individuals with chronic health conditions like diabetes or heart disease.
• Meal Preparation and Feeding:
• Preparing nutritious meals based on dietary needs or restrictions.
• Assisting with feeding, especially for those who are unable to eat independently.
• Companionship and Emotional Support:
• Offering companionship and engaging in conversation to reduce feelings of loneliness.
• Assisting with social activities, such as reading, playing games, or going for walks.

Qualifications

• Certified Home Health Aide certification
• Proficient in patient care and monitoring
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Experience in senior care and home health environments
• Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
• Ability to provide compassionate caregiving and support for individuals with disabilities and Alzheimer's care

Job Types: PRN, Contract

Pay: $13.02 - $14.00 per hour
