What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Development Project Manager position at + Lux Unfiltered, Inc.?
- Assist with Product Development for Beauty Brand spanning across different categories - Skincare, Colored Cosmetics, Bath and Body, Suncare, etc.
- Assist Product Development Manager with the development, evaluation and follow-through for new beauty products, formula improvements, packaging and accessories
- Source packaging vendors, labs, and manufacturers
- Oversee formulators, vendors, and manufacturers to meet deadlines and drive progress during the development process
- Evaluate incoming samples/products and provide timely feedback to external partners
- Oversee product testing
- Perform competitive research on new products and ingredient technologies to establish supporting data towards new product concepts
- Maintain product development spreadsheets and other internal documents
- 1-3 years of experience in beauty product development
- Knowledge and experience in managing product development projects from start to finish
- Passion for beauty and skincare
- Collaborative, open minded and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills are a must
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Office is located in North County San Diego
