Armed Security Officer

Job Title: Armed Security Officer (Dispensary Experience Preferred)
Location: Downtown Dayton
Employment Type: Part Time/Full-Time (8-Hour Shifts)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Armed Security Officer to join our team at a licensed dispensary. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a dispensary setting, be courteous, and maintain a positive and welcoming attitude at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the dispensary by checking IDs and verifying authorization.
• Maintain a secure, safe, and positive environment for both staff and clients.
• Ensure only authorized individuals are on the property.
• Greet clients and visitors in a respectful and professional manner.
• Remain vigilant and proactive in identifying and responding to any incidents or suspicious activities.
• Work closely with dispensary staff to support a smooth and safe operation.
• Complete incident reports and communicate effectively with management when necessary.
• Uphold all legal and company protocols related to security and firearms.

Requirements:

• Valid Armed Security License (must meet state requirements).
• Previous experience in a dispensary or similar environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including saturdays or evenings as needed.
• Calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior law enforcement, military, or cannabis industry experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
