Position: Head Spa Therapist
Location: Renue Advanced Cosmetics & Head Spa, Olympia, WA
Reports to: Spa Manager / Head Therapist
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time

Overview:
Renue Advanced Cosmetics & Head Spa in Olympia, WA, is seeking a skilled and passionate Head Spa Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing luxurious and effective scalp, hair, and head treatments to enhance the overall guest experience. You will use advanced techniques and high-quality products to promote relaxation, improve scalp health, and elevate the overall well-being of each guest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of head spa services, including scalp massages, hair treatments, and other therapeutic scalp therapies. (MUST BE ABLE TO DO A BLOW OUT& STYLE).
• Tailor treatments to guests' specific needs, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience.
• Provide consultations to understand guest needs, including hair and scalp conditions.
• Recommend appropriate hair care products for home use and provide aftercare advice.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting spa environment in line with company standards.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and techniques in head spa and wellness treatments.
• Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient service and minimal guest wait times.
• Promote and sell additional spa services and products, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of guest treatments, preferences, and any allergies or sensitivities.
• Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge in head spa therapy, scalp massage, or related field.
• Proven experience with customer service
• Excellent knowledge of hair and scalp health, treatments, and techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with guests and deliver exceptional service.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other spa treatments such as facials, body massages, or aromatherapy.
• Knowledge of luxury skincare or hair care brands.
• Fluent in additional languages (if applicable).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 20 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a spa environment, which may include exposure to essential oils, lotions, and other products.
