What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift position at Luxco, Inc.?
We are looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our Lux Row team in Bardstown, KY. As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for routine maintenance on distillery equipment, PLC and instrumentation troubleshooting and electrical work.
What will you do?
- Working with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure preventive and routine maintenance is being conducted.
- Knowledge of all Distillery equipment including but not limited to pneumatics, pumps, hydraulics, valves etc.
- Communicating with the Distillery Supervisor and Maintenance Supervisor regarding equipment malfunction and or corrective action on daily basis.
- Assisting in maintaining and ensuring proper operation of boiler, reverse osmosis (RO) system, water softener, chiller, and cooling tower.
- Working knowledge and ability to service and troubleshoot programmable logical controller (PLC) and instrumentation.
What do you need to bring to the table?
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within the food and/or beverage field with a strong understanding of the maintenance processes or licensed in skilled trade.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

We anticipate the annual base salary for this position to be between $33.00hr-$38.00hr. This anticipated salary range is not, however, a promise of any specific salary for any specific employee, which is always dependent on factors such as actual candidate background, experience, education, skills, and work location. If your desired base salary falls outside of this range, we hope you'll still apply as there may be other positions that better align.
