What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRO Buyer-STL position at Luxco?
We are looking to hire a MRO Buyer to join our Luxco team in St. Louis, MO. Assist MRO Purchasing Manager with buying all MRO items and maintaining inventory of parts room.
What will you do?
CMMS Management
- Entering Work orders accurately.
- Entering new part numbers, descriptions, and managing reorder lists.
- Generating inventory reports for accounting.
MRO Purchasing
- Purchasing needed parts and other items deemed essential to keeping the production lines running.
- Reviews and negotiates lower pricing with contractors.
- Works with accounting processing invoices regarding MRO purchases.
Parts Room Management
- Maintaining Inventory Accuracy with cycle counts.
- Housekeeping and organization.
- Pull parts for maintenance personnel.
- Receiving in packages from UPS, Fedex, etc.
Driver
- Picking up, delivering spare parts or materials when needed to support the bottling operation.
What do you need to bring to the table?
- High School Diploma Required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good Vendor Management skills.
- Planning and organization training.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment or commercial building maintenance.
- Minimum 1 year experience MRO purchasing.
- Flexibility to work off shift/overtime when required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word)
- Working knowledge of production equipment and related parts.
