Job Summary:
This role involves supervising nursing personnel and day-to-day nursing activities during an assigned tour of duty. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality nursing care is delivered to patients/residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve staff performance and address problem areas.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and treatment.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to make recommendations for process improvements.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- Current registration and license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state employed
- Peripheral IV certification
- Two years of clinical nursing experience
