WOUND CARE NURSE PRACTITIONER
Are you a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner with a passion for hands-on patient care and improving patient outcomes? Luxe at Wellington Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Wound Care NP to provide advanced wound treatment while working closely with an interdisciplinary team. Your expertise will directly impact patient recovery, quality of life, and overall healthcare outcomes.
Wound Care Nurse Practitioner Key Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Perform hands-on wound care procedures , including debridement, dressing changes, and advanced therapies
Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention, healing, and post-care management
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize patient recovery
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices
Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans, and document treatment outcomes
Wound Care Nurse Practitioner Qualifications :
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Florida
Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWCN, or equivalent) preferred
Experience in wound care, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings
Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and leadership skills
A passion for direct patient care and healing
