What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floral Designer (Seasonal) position at Luxe Stems Floral Design Gallery?
Luxe Stems is a woman-led and veteran-owned business dedicated to servicing Frisco and the surrounding areas. We don't refer to ourselves as "the typical" floral shop. We have kicked it up a notch by paying attention to detail by using different and interesting textures in our floral designs. We consider our designers "Artists" and this is the way they show and display their creativity in the gallery. We also consider ourselves an upscale "Floral Design Gallery." We complement our core floral offerings with carefully selected Texas-made products such as candles and chocolates. Customer satisfaction is our goal and we will always provide top-notch customer service.
We are looking to hire an experienced and creative floral designer to design, create, and sell standard and customized floral arrangements to customers. The floral designer's responsibilities include advising customers on suitable floral arrangement selections, wrapping completed floral arrangements, unpacking and organizing deliveries, and ensuring that the floral shop is clean and well-organized. You should also be able to participate in various exhibitions to attract customers.
To be successful as a floral designer, you should keep abreast of emerging styles and trends in floral design. Ultimately, an exceptional floral designer should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ensure that ordered floral arrangements are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
****THIS POSITION IS SEASONAL FOR BUSY HOLIDAYS. (Valentine's, Mother's Day, Proms, Homecomings etc.)

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
