We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team! The assembly technician will be responsible for assembling our lockers, testing them, and getting them ready for delivery. We are looking for a team player who is willing to jump into any other area that needs help. This is a fast paced environment, we work hard, but we also take care of our employees by scheduling quarterly events and investing in their development. Responsibilities:
- Commitment to Safety
- Collect all material and equipment needed to begin production
- Follow assembly guideline instructions to assemble lockers to Luxer One standards
- Quality control checks on all completed lockers by ensuring internal components do not fail and are functioning per Luxer One standards
- Package/palletize finished lockers for shipping
- Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
- Operate pallet jack and forklift
- Operate PEM machine to attach PEM hardware to doors
- Any other job duties as requested by management
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have a valid drivers license
- 1-2 years experience in warehouse or production environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 or more pounds
- Forklift certification preferred
- Microsoft Office/Google Suite/Mac literacy
- Basic math skills
