Responsibilities
Reporting to the Powders Financial Controller, as the Staff Accountant, you will play an integral role in period end reporting and ensure all journals are posted in an accurate and timely manner.
Your duties will include, although not be limited to:

- Call Customers for Past Due invoices
- Invoicing Daily Sales Orders
- Check all Sales orders for Accounting Approval on Sharepoint
- Deposit all checks received via PO Box
- Enter all new Customers / Ship-too in Addon and Deacom
- Quarterly Reporting
- Yearly Reporting
- File 1099 NEC
- Vacation Accrual
- Fringes
- Tax Entry
- Interest Entry
- GL Review and account reconciliation
- Intercompany Tie Out
- Coordination of Annual Internal Audit
- One Stream Reporting
- Cash Bank Reconciliation
- Customer Payments
- Booking Payroll
- Booking Insurance
- Download of TB and P&L for reporting
- AP Back Up (Check Machine)
- Bachelors’ Degree preferred
- Fully Qualified or Part Qualified CPA or CMA preferred
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Proven experience as an Accountant within the manufacturing industry and/or production control, commercial analytics, Financial Planning & Analysis
- IT literate, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and a high intellectual curiosity about business process automation, advanced modelling, “possibilities” with technology
- Experience of using ERP systems. Experience of having undergone the implementation of a new ERP system would be desirable
- Manufacturing Finance experience
