Position Overview
The Loader/Unloader plays a critical role in the daily operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and organizing inventory to ensure timely and accurate shipments. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, safety-focused, and eager to contribute in a dynamic and team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload shipments, following proper handling procedures
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and completeness
- Organize products and materials in designated areas for storage or staging
- Maintain cleanliness and order in loading areas, ensuring adherence to safety standards
- Comply with all company safety protocols and operational guidelines
Qualifications
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, or freight handling preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures accurately
- Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
- Forklift certification is a plus; training will be provided
